Create. Destroy. Re-Create: Creative Problem Solving
Age: 5th Grade

5th grade artists were first asked to create two paintings using tempera paint. They were strongly encouraged to create as many new colors as possible. While the paintings dried, we discussed and analyzed the work of Vik Muniz. Once their paintings dried, the students destroyed their paintings in order to create something new from the smaller pieces.
